Hampton Designer Showhouse Part IV

With the week ending today, so will our posts about the Traditional Home Hampton Designer Showhouse. The last set of rooms I'd like to share with you are the master bedroom, along with the baby's room. Both equally chic, but with totally different moods. The master bedroom is bright, airy, and most all... sexy. Yes, I said sexy. When your bed has a tray of fruit, vodka, and whip cream, there can only be one thing on the agenda... putting a baby in the room next door. The large master bedroom is painted and peach color, with faux-finishing above the wainscoting. The centrally located bed is placed in the exact middle of the room, bringing its occupants closer to the wall of windows looking onto the lawn. The bed itself is an oversized green upholstered headboard and frame with mismatching side tables. The bedroom has enough space for laying on the bed, sitting at a desk, or lounging on the sofa. The bedroom has a gorgeous view of the yard, along with large open-air balcony, and adjacent to the master is the nursery, for easy access but enough separation for optimal privacy.

The thing I like most about the nursery is that it's the darkest and moodiest room in the house. Who doesn't love a baby with an attitude? The room with a 'tude is decked out in a graphic wallpaper with gold, orange, blue and black, all complimenting the almost-black moldings on the walls and ceilings. The dark room is offset by white furniture and Moroccan-style floor cushions. If I was baby I'd be happy in this room, and quite frankly, I'd be happy in this room in my mid-twenties.
