Simon Spurr has been an around for a little while now, and has garnered a lot of attention for his slick looking suits, and his luxe denim line. I mentioned his Spring 2011 collection sometime ago, and was an immediate fan. His newly shown Fall collection puts Mr. Spurr at the top of my list for most innovative designer. His darker-european inspired suits are tailored to a tee, and jazzed up with cashmere hoods, or driving gloves, which look like leg-warmers for your wrists (I'm into it). I'm always a fan of a dark menswear collection, but I can also appreciate pops of colors like the burnt orange cable-knit turtleneck sweater, or the impeccably tailored bronze suit (my favorite look). Simon Spurr has the ability to take the quality of Savile Row suiting and bring it to America at an affordable price-point. Not only is Mr. Spurr well-liked in the fashion community but celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Zac Efron, and Matt Bomer have been seen wearing Mr. Spurr's stylish threads on the red carpet.
