Lacquer paint has been applied to furniture for years, but now more and more walls are being coated in lacquered paint and give the room a huge burst of color, and interest. Adding the extra shine to your walls will add a reflective quality to the room, making the room automatically brighter. It may be suggested that the lacquer paint be used only in small spaces, but if you use a subdue shade, it can make any room, of any size, look great. I especially love when room accents, like built-in cabinetry or bookshelves are coated in a lacquer, it gives the piece a very mod feel.
