Southern Gentleman, Sid Mashburn

The great womenswear designer, Oscar de la Renta said 'rules were made to be broken; otherwise there would be no rules.' and I believe that menswear genius Sid Mashburn of the chic Sid Mashburn mens boutique in Atlanta knows that rules are easily broken, and sometimes for the best. Mr. Mashburn has been dressing men for years in classic and refined English feeling clothes that will make any man feel good. The Sid Mashburn boutique in Atlanta is as gorgeous as the clothes sold in it; my favorite is the giant equestrian painting hanging above the counter... again, just plain classic. Mr. Mashburn has a firm belief in men not having many choices, because frankly they don't need that many. I can't say that I totally agree with him on that, but I do understand that a man's wardrobe can be paired down to a few certain things. Generally, Sid and his team take the work out of shopping for men, because they offer only the necessities that will make any man look and feel cool. This is the first time I've written about Mr. Mashburn, but one of his stylish associates popped up in our Saturday Sartorial Inspiration posts not to long ago and was clad in Sid Mashburn apparel.
