Hot Like a Jalapeno

It's rare to say that one would want their living room to resemble a jalapeno pepper, but when you paint the walls with Benjamin Moore's Jalapeno Pepper green, your worries seem to drift away. This light but spunky shade of green, when lacquered, gives this New York City living room a soothing feeling, especially when paired with neutral-colored seating, and bling-worthy stools, used as cocktail tables. The playfully shiny walls are offset by black and white photography, including the Alex Prager photo hanging above the sofa, which has a pop of the room's dominant color too. The whole room is as comfortable as it is practical, with copious amounts of storage space in the custom built-in shelving, holding a television, among many books and personal affects. The room is somewhat monochromatic, and almost reminiscent of recently featured Nick Olsen's red haven, just on a different color palette. Hopefully after looking at this NYC living room, it will have you green with envy.
