Renovations can be quite demanding, and a little overwhelming. This five-story townhouse in Manhattan, went from dark and damp to light and airy; the perfect venue for an art collecting family. The completely transformed NYC abode is equipped with a massive skylight above the sweeping staircase, which naturally illuminates the entire house. Not only is the home an escape from the city chaos, but it also has an indoor pool, making you never have to leave. I especially appreciate the details in house, like the chaotically chic marble tile in the master bathroom, or the wide plank light(ish)-toned wood floors throughout.
