Fall is coming and that means brisk weather is also coming, definitely requiring a nice looking coat. During the Autumn season, I am totally on board with the classic trench coat. The rain-repelling old school coat is perfect for keeping you dry in the rain showers, and keeping you warm when the weather finally starts to change. The normally khaki or black colored jackets have a nice hue for the sometimes gloomy looking season, it's a stark contrast from the summer rain jackets, Luxe featured a few weeks ago. The nice thing about these coats, is that they are very versatile; a khaki version is casual enough for jeans and loafers, while the black is comfortable and formal enough to wear with a suit. I have a black trench from Banana Republic and it is a perfect option when trying make a casual look a little more chic. My only beef with these jackets is that they don't have a hood... some you may want to invest in an umbrella.
