For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted a stainless steel kitchen. Having metal surfaced appliances are nice, but the sheen that comes along with the steel cabinets and countertops are just beautiful, as well as practical. Outfitting your cooking space in stainless steel-clad surfaces will make you look like you know what you're doing in the kitchen... even if you don't have the slightest idea. Many might think that this type of kitchen will look sterile, or too industrial, but if you pair it with the right fixtures and use it like any other personal kitchen, the room will feel as comfortable as any country kitchen. Stainless steel kitchens can have a really great look if they feature a natural surfaced-wall in the kitchen, like brick or stone (seen below); the two juxtapose materials will counteract each other in a positive way, and make the whole space feel comfortably yet professional. Who wants brownies?
