It's no surprise that old time craftsmanship is better than today's methods when it comes to clothing, and especially shoes. Shockingly enough, many companies that have been around for hundreds of years are still around today and still have the same quality they started with. Wolverine is no exception to vintage craftsmanship, and their 1000 Mile Boot is evidence for their amazing quality, and needless to say, style. The American-made boots are crafted from authentic Horween leather, with a stacked leather outsole and classic welt construction. The style comes in three different colors, and three different styles. Wolverine is manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has been in business for over 125 years ago, never straying from quality and durability. I just got a pair of Classic 1000 Mile Boot in brown from Haberdash and am absolutely loving the way they're wearing in. As you all know, I plan on wearing the Classics in Idaho this week, and cannot wait to see how well they hold up in the snow! I'm holding out for the Wolverine 721LTD Boot, which only 1000 are made every 5 years and became available this fall, but the Classic style will hold me over for now.
