Today's look at my favorite women's looks from Fall 2011's New York Fashion Week include many designers, with one definite underdog. Peter Som, Tess Giberson, Derek Lam, Libertine, and Victoria Beckham all caught my eye, but Mrs. Beckham definitely made me think twice about celebrity fashion designers. Her Fall line was absolutely extraordinary! Her huge collection was so eclectic, but had a strong vision and collective idea. It seems as though she takes this seriously, and something very cool about her collection is she actually curated the show while in progress; apparently her use of technical-jargin was quite surprising too. I think if Mrs. Beckham can keep this work up, she will have quite the future in fashion.
