In honor of my birthday, I'll be taking today off, but won't be leaving you high and dry. It's pretty easy to give the inside of a house a lot of character, but the outside poses much more of challenge. One sure-fire way to add a little bit more interest on the outside is to grow a little ivy. The vines often seen on ivy league (get it?) campuses look just as good on a house as they do on a library. The viney growth of green will give your house age in the most dignified way. Enjoy!
