Jimmy Cohrssen

For over twenty years, Jimmy Cohrssen has photographed some of the world's most beautiful locations. He has recently captured some of great retail spaces on film, ranging from the landmark Louis Vuitton store in Paris, to the exquisitely designed Chanel boutique in Shanghai. Mr. Cohrssen has the ability to photograph a room and make it even more interesting than actually being in the room itself. The architectural and design photographer has an extended list of luxe shops, and a number of design and architecture firms on his resume. I am currently trying to find any type of book by Mr. Cohrssen, but am proving unsuccessful. I would love to be able to showcase all these great shops somewhere in my house.

Blake Lively for Chanel

In celebration of Blake Lively becoming the new style ambassador to Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag (yes, I know I'm late), I wanted to showcase the beauty's style and poise. I think Ms. Lively is one of young-hollywood's most stylish girls, and her and Chanel go great together. The New Yorker reported that Vogue's Anna Wintour introduced Ms. Lively and Karl Lagerfeld to each other last July. The two apparently hit if off, and now Mr. Lagerfeld is photographing the young girl who is said to be his new muse. I can't wait to see the new ad campaign, and I'm sure the bag might pop up on Gossip Girl, which Ms. Lively stars on. Fun fact, at the ripe age of 23, Blake Lively has been a Vogue-covergirl twice.

Sweet Karlie Kloss

The thing I love most about models is they all look so different. My favorite model by far is Karlie Kloss, the midwestern born teenager who is one of the most respected faces in the industry. I actually had the pleasure of meeting her on a flight some time ago, when we were both flying to Chicago from New York. She was only 15 at the time and coming back from doing a photoshoot in Manhattan. She was so personable and so nice, I couldn't believe it when she told me what she was doing. I've followed her career since, which as skyrocketed to superstardom. In this most recent New York Fashion Week, she opened for Oscar de la Renta, and walked in countless other shows. But I suspect her crowning jewel was to walk in Chanel's Paris Fashion Week show, which should be an honor for every model. The pictures below are a mix of editorial and runaway snapshots, I had so many to choose from, I needed to narrow them down.

This is my absolute favorite picture of Ms. Kloss because I cannot tell if this was a staged photo, or just a simply candid photo of her looking beautiful without even trying.
