Military-inspired men’s clothing is not my favorite but when Atelier de Production et de Création does it, they do it right.
A.P.C. as it has come to be known creates some of the most luxe clothes coming out of
France. The French ready-to-wear company was founded in 1988 by Tunisian native Jean Touitou, who has the reputation of having a strong dislike for loose-fitting clothes, which is obviously observed in A.P.C.'s collection. The company is also known for its raw-denim salvage jeans, which are jeans, cut from untreated denim, making for a stiff first-wear but eventually distressing to the wearer's body, and thus softening faster and better than any other non-raw denim. Raw denim is a personal favorite of mine ever since getting my first pair from
Haberdash. Mr. Touitou has created some of the most beautiful men’s clothes; his creations have a unique look, and the tailored craftsmanship is unmatched, but coveted by many others.
