Who doesn't love a surprise? Especially the kind of surprise that allows you to pack with a little ease. Now it's not so surprising that Jack Spade designed the perfect travel bag that is the equivalent to a tent. The Stowaway Nylon Tote can carry quite the load, or can collapse down to nothing more than a knapsack. The featherweight nylon material adds no extra weight and allows you to stuff it anywhere when not in use. I can imagine this bag will be a travelers best friend upon their return with more stuff than what was departed with. Examining the Summer Trend, Stripes

As summer is coming to a close, I want cover one of my favorite trends I saw this summer. While in Europe, and stateside, I was drawn to stripes. From t-shirts, to sweaters, to v-necks, the black (or blue) and white horizontally striped shirts always caught my eye. The typically nautical-inspired look has been modernized in the past years, making it the perfect shirt for summer. I've even seen a black and white striped crew-neck be worn with a black blazer. I predict one will be able to get away with this look next summer, and the summer after that, since it is really just a modern-day throwback to the nautical lifestyle seem in the 1900s.

Ahoy Mate!

Summer time is here, and what better way to spend the hot days of July and August on a boat? I was lucky enough to get a little boat-time in when I was in Capri, and now I've had the nautical fever since. Boating around the bay has been a summer past time for centuries, and some of the chicest people have taken to the high sea, looking nothing but luxe while doing it. Stripes, shorts, Sperrys, and Persols are all key essentials to grace the mahogany deck of a boat, whether in Capri, Cape Cod, or Monaco.
